Ok, This piece was born from a quick decision to Drive up to Kaanae from Kahului at 2:30 in the afternoon. Well, thats half way to Hana but what the heck. The weather was perfect and I had my plein air gear with me. I painted this one till about 6:15 pm and packed it up slowly while enjoying the last rays of the day. That stretch of coastline is absolutely magical. I'll be back...
